The slimming products are flooding the shelves of para pharmacies and even supermarkets. But which ones are really effective? Between creams, capsules, teas and meal replacements,
how to choose products for weight loss?
The range of products for weight loss can be divided into 3 categories: substitutes, additives and targeted treatments. Each has its own interest, but we should sort out the arguments advertising real effects of these products for weight loss.
Among the products to lose weight described as the most effective, meal replacements arrive at the top of the list. However, we must relativize somewhat this reputation. The effectiveness of meal replacements is generally based on a minimum intake of calories and zero fat and sugar. The cut-appetites are involved in these preparations to avoid snacks that would reduce to nothing the regime. Mathematically, we can only lose weight with meal replacements. But it is the yoyo effect which is formidable with these regimes, because weight loss is not based on the assimilation of new healthy eating habits and balanced. These products for weight loss can give a small boost to weight loss faster, but they are not accompanied by a serious, their effect is only fleeting.
Adjuvants and targeted treatments are, however, slimming products in addition to a slimming programme to enhance the effects, or reshape parts of the body. Adjuvants can take the form of capsules or infusions, and are often based compounds of plants or algae. They, as the case virtues diuretic, laxative, cutting-appetites and fat-burning. The targeted treatments are most often in the form of creams, and intended to reduce orange peel or cellulite. The results can be measured not by weight or inches lost, but the massage associated with a product stimulating lessen some visible defects. These products will be effective for weight loss when used regularly, and in addition to a diet.
